In this edition of "Spirit Matters," let us focus on God's faithfulness. Imagine how you can see his promises come alive in this world we live in today. In Titus 1:2, it states; God never lies and He never makes mistakes. To all of His promises, He is completely faithful.

As Christians, we take Him at his word. Prophetic messages from the Holy Spirit were given to men to write in the Bible. Today, if we listen and are faithful to our belief, we also can hear the voice of God leading us into the truth for today.

The forthcoming events happening in the world now, were foretold in the Scriptures many years ago. We sometimes don't understand when we read about world events, but keep your eyes on Iran, Russia, Israel and the Middle East.

God promised to re-gather the Jewish nation and that they would not be removed again. In 1948 the Jewish nation was formed, supported greatly by the United States. They have suffered wars, rumors of wars, persecution and are still under attack by the Arab nations and Russia. In the last few decades, Jerusalem has become the Epi-Center of the earth. The U.S. recently pledged more billions of dollars to secure the protection of Israel.

Remember that God has promised that His People would not be destroyed, so as His promise, Israel will ultimately be delivered from the threats against her. We just need to know that God is in control of their destiny and ours, so trust Him to carry out his plan.

New York Times Christian writer, Mike Evans, who is quite influential with the Israelies and Arabs has a new best seller. His book, "The Final Move Beyond Iraq," is an account of a "Final Solution While The World Sleeps." One chapter, "The Battle for the Soul of America" states; We have rejected the foundation of our culture that has traditionally held us together, also God and the Holy Scriptures. As our culture drifts away from that center, we no longer hear His voice. First amendment rights are denied to those who would speak for God, while those who fight for self, special interest, and immorality are passionately intense.

He speaks of the Prophetic storm that is happening before us in the news. We are dealing with a force much stronger that mere threats, We as a nation need to seek God and His plan for America.

Wake up America! Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem! Ask God to give you His Peace, as Jesus stated; My peace I leave with you, not as the world gives. Trust God, have faith, and the Truths You Live by will reveal God's plan for your life.
